Japan Open

May 2013

Olia Burtaev and Bianca Hammett placed 20th in Duet at the Japan Open in a top class international field as countries prepare for the World Championships in July. 

Marina Kholod coached the duet also officiated as a judge gaining valuable international judging experience.

West Coast Splash, based in Perth WA, claimed the Club Championship trophy at the Australian Open and Age Group Championships held in Melbourne in April 2013.

The Victorian Synchronized Swimming committee are to be congratulated on running a professional and exciting event.

German and French Opens

Bianca Hammett and Olia Burtaev attended both the German Open (Bonn) and the French Open (Paris) in March 2013 gaining valuable international experience in their preparation towards the World Championships.

The duet of Burtaev and Hammett placed 8th at the German Open and 11th at the French Open.
